Mikhaila Peterson on curing autoimmune disease and depression with a carnivore diet.

There is a video after the introduction!

Mikhaila Peterson, a 27-year-old mother, runs the "Don't Eat That" blog. She was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis at 7 years, severe depression at 10 years and idiopathic hypersomnia at 21 years. Multiple joints were replaced at age 17. After years of research trying to solve his autoimmune problems, he became paleo / low carb and finally finished with the diet of meat, salt and water that solved his conditions. He is now free of all medications and in complete remission. It is raising awareness about the options that still exist when people seem not to have their autoimmune symptoms completely under control.

  1. I checked out White Oak Pastures and they supplement the grassfed and pasture raised animals with corn, soy, and various other grains. Can they use a healthier source of supplemental feed?

  2. Hi ,
I kinda convinced my dad to eat carnivore… but his level of uric acid is high and he has gout, and when he stops meat for 2 days he stopped having gout ( while not being keto though) , and the only meat high quality would be lamb, which is high in purines… any idea what might help?

  3. It could be that the way your body handles redox reactions has somehow become deranged.
If so, a machine like nano vi erg3 could be a big benefit and may even probably reverse the condition.
I think this diet is in effect doing a end-around and avoiding the excess of these reactions .
The machine theoretically could help your cells start handling these reactions in the correct way …
Could also be why water fasting is so beneficial for you.
Raw meat protein would be ideal . Better for the kidneys with proteins less susceptible to folding.

  4. Can you please post a link to where I can purchase the electrolytes that Mikhaila discusses near the end of the video? I thought it was from Ancestral Supplements, but I don't see them there. Thank you!

  5. Awesome interview! I have heard Mikhaila's story before, but I really enjoyed hearing your interjections with the pertinent medical information and translations of what her symptoms were and the causes. You guys make a great team. Keep on spreading the news!

  6. Y'all really should stop saying keto or keto carnivore gets rid of autoimmune disease. It doesn't cure anything either. It's no secret to any of us on keto that as soon as we stray from ketosis, boom our symptoms and health issues return. This is not called getting rid of or curing anything.
A more accurate term to use is called remission.

  7. Dismembered body parts are not food…They are the butchered corpse of a once living, breathing, sentient being who died violently.

“Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”—Albert Einstein

"The human appetite for animal flesh is a driving force behind virtually every major category of environmental damage now threatening the human future – deforestation, erosion, fresh water scarcity, air and water pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, social injustice, the destabilization of communities and the spread of disease." — The World Watch Institute

“There will come a time in the future where we look back in shame at how we ate and used other animals for our pleasure. We will recoil at the violence we sowed upon them for our selfish desires. Just like all forms of oppression and exploitation that have come before us, animal exploitation will end. Which side of history will you be on when the history books have been written?”

There are no magical slaughterhouses where animals are fed their favorite meal, make a last phone call to a loved one and voluntarily hold their breath until they die. The act of slaughter is violent, vicious, bloody and hellish. The animals do not sacrifice themselves for your pleasure, tradition or greed. They are dragged in, kicking and screaming until their last breath. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can eat meat, dairy and eggs and remain disconnected from this violence.

The only way out is VEGAN.

  8. I commend you both for spreading the word on carnivore and health. I've been keto for over 2 years but lately feel like something is wrong, meaning that I feel the need to eliminate possible foods I'm sensitive to. I have HORRIBLE fatigue. I've been diagnosed with fatigued adrenals and low thyroid which I'm trying to heal naturally. The detail Mikaila goes into regarding symptoms and the timeline she needed to recover are very, very interesting. This will give me patience to wait things out. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart!!!

  9. i like how paul got mikhaila on the postcast right after she started saying how nose to tail is bullshit on other podcasts. paul was like holdddd up i gotta get this b on my podcast lmao. i know you did paul!

  10. Western medicine doesn’t think of this because they don’t want to! Sick people doesn’t bring make money. Sick people = $$$$

  11. You have to talk about leptin resisitance and fasting to reset. I'm about to throw in the towel on this way of eating because I keep gaining.

  12. Keto Carnivore radically suppresses appetite cravings. We need to game this for PR effect to combat the disordered guilt of the Vegans (who eat the poor animals' food!). How about: "Save more animals by eating carnivore to suppress food-cravings, lose weight, get super-healthy and eat less than ever before."

  13. Mikhaila, I am noticing your facial expressions is showing yourself more happy than previous videos. Not only are you feeling better, but your facial expressions are showing it. Congratulations.

  14. Great interview, I've never heard of the steak dance, and don't want to see anyone do a steak dance, Cheers.

  15. to me the joint pain completely went away. i had a mild shoulder and knee joint pain for years. it no longer pains even with intense gymnastics training.

  16. Dr. Paul – Do you personally take any hormones like testosterone, progesterone, DHEA, DIM? If you've already answered this question for someone else sorry to ask it again. Thanks

  17. so the medical system fails her daughter epically but mom goes in for more haha! 🤦🏻‍♀️
