DEPRESSION WHILE BREASTFEEDING // DYSPHORIC MILK EJECTION REFLEX // POSTPARTUM STRUGGLES

Hello everyone! I am so happy to be able to share my experiences of breastfeeding and postpartum struggles with the hope that this will at least reach a mother who struggles with any postpartum symptoms. YOU'RE NOT ALONE!! Postpartum mood disorders are very common due to the rapid change of hormones and other changes that occur mentally, physically and emotionally.

Sometimes mothers may experience symptoms of postpartum depression, but only during breastfeeding. This can be caused by a condition known as dysphoric milk ejection reflex or D-MER.

The dysphoric milk ejection reflex, or D-MER, is a condition caused by an abnormal chemical and hormonal reaction that causes a brief but abrupt emotional response during milk drop.

If you have ever experienced any unexpected symptoms after delivery, let me know in the comments below. I would love to hear your story and how you worked it! Also, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my channel!
