This short film was made as part of a diploma campaign project under the theme Awareness of the campaign for mental health problems.
Mental health is a serious issue that many people do not talk about. There is a great stigma surrounding mental health and depression that is due to the lack of education in this important issue. What we should do as a society is to educate ourselves and others about the seriousness of mental health and mental illness and treat it for what it really is.
I hope you have in mind that depression has NO face. Depression does not discriminate. It can affect anyone of any age and status. Depression is not obvious, so do not expect the person who has it to look sad all the time. Depression works in a complicated way. Please try to notice any signs of your loved ones.
