    The Science of Depression

    1. And I’m that 9 year old too scared to tell my parents I want to die feeling like they might hate me even more!

    2. I hate when people tell me to « hang in there », or « everything will be alright » or « cheer up » and especially when they go into context like « oh I understand…blah blah… (and) everything will be alright you just need to find meaning! » like just because your saying that and trying to make me feel better doesn’t mean it works, it never works. Deppression isn’t a thing where you can push it away forever even if i get serious help it doesn’t work, and I’ve had friends who’ve forced me to get help from stupid councilors, which Is why I don’t trust people very well. I don’t want people’s pitty, I just want them to get over it and let me deal with it on my own… this doesn’t mean anyone else has to, but that’s how I’ve rolled always.

    3. Honestly i wish i can find out what the missing piece that is missing in my life and it makes me so sad and non stop overthinking and always having that sad and thinking face that makes you look helpless😢

    4. So in other words, the reason that young people are more depressed than ever before is that fewer people have deep faith in God than ever before. Pray. You may not understand HOW prayer works, but then again, 200 years ago no one would have understood radio waves, yet they would still have worked.

    5. Science may be able to examine correlation, but the evolutionary model would indicate that a widespread phenomenon of persons becoming inert and self-destructive would be genetically counterproductive. I do know science, you see. I also know that demons- yes, literal fallen angels- cause depression, and I have personally encountered them.

    6. SSRIs like Paxil, Zoloft, Laxapro, etc. are super antihistamines! Seroquel for bipolar depression is an antihistamine. Many cases of endogenous depression are allergy-related.

    7. I was thinking of exiting the earth when I ate sunflower seeds two years ago. And I even take antidepressants! Food allergies are the only cause behind my severe depression. I don't have reactive depression due to a loss in life. Mine's physical.

    8. I have it because of unhappiness and without the abulity to get rid of upsetting thoughts

    9. Why does it seem like everyone in my school has depression. It's either the world is shit AF. But I think it's because the word depression is now lost in context. If say I'm a young girl and I randomly felt sad for a week suddenly they say there are depressed but they are not they are just bummed out

    10. The program has cleared my obstacles [ Check Details here ===https://t.co/rqkP0VGjvp ] that I was facing. This has given me more desire and drive towards the life that I want. Thanks. Peace and Blessings

    11. Depression is just a hoax spread by psychological doctors..surprisingly you'll only find it in a well fed society.. I've not seen any one depressed when they have nothing to eat nowhere to live or is dying in a war stricken country…it's just imbalance of hormones that's all…just try to live a healthy life..be conscious about your surroundings…try to become a kid again..always enthusiastic, cheerful..try to find happiness..happiness in small things, you'll never get the whole package at once..that's my view 🙂
