    1. You are so right, Chris. I am only just realising that there is a deeper reason for my behaviours now at the age of 40.

    2. Chris, you could very easily be describing me. At this point I have started seeing a counselor, plan on joining the ymca, which here in the US is an exercise place with a pool. My back isn't good after I had back surgery a few years ago, which makes it hard for me to keep up with the housework. I still have a lot of "stuff", and since my mom and dad died, I have a lot of THEIR stuff, which I can't bring myself to get rid of. I haven't started back smoking, which it is now 5 months, and I do drink a few beers. I shouldn't because I have bad GERD, which is stomach upset. Inside I feel very empty. I have written to you more than once, and you always write back, which I really appreciate. Maybe I should start ACOA meetings, or AA meetings. My sister goes to AA, even though she was not a raving drunk, she says the meetings really help her. I don't know, as I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. I have two dogs, one of which is young and bratty, and four guinea pigs. I'm 62, and don't work. My husband has health issues and needs a lot of support. Thanks!
