Today's topic is very important for anyone over 40 and especially for me, because I have a family history of Alzheimer's and dementia, mainly from the side of my father's family.

The key is not in the beta-amyloid entanglements that receive so much attention (and have been the target of so many FAULTY pharmaceutical drugs).
It's something else: a little ugly "mistake" in the brain called tau entanglements.
They appear FIRST … especially in the brainstem … and as they accumulate, everything begins to fall apart.
When the tau spreads and hits the bark, you have dementia.
Stop the tau, and you can help stop the disease.
But the first challenge is that you have to SPOT, and you may think that that is impossible without expensive brain scans.

For starters, I suggest everyone take a multi-complex vitamin B supplement. B12 (the methylcobalamin form is the best) is one of the most important B vitamins.
Make sure you also take some omega-3 fatty acids. This would be fish oils. However, if you are a vegetarian, you can try flaxseed and hemp oil, but they are not as effective.
